Hydro Project
Project co-financed by The EU Commission under ERASMUS PLUS HIGHER EDUCATION
The Project
The HYDRO project aims to modernize education in green hydrogen, balancing economic growth with environmental care. It aligns with European environmental policies and partner goals, focusing on training for a greener economy. The project
addresses the need for professionals in carbon-neutral hydrogen, influencing higher education to integrate energy and
environmental topics, fostering ecological sustainability.
The HYDRO project is motivated by a range of factors that align with the goals and activities of our partner organizations, and their commitment to the communities they serve. This project is an effort to keep up with the latest in education and training, especially in new and innovative areas such as green hydrogen.
We are driven by a desire to actively engage in a period of transition that seeks a sustainable balance between environmental care and economic growth. Recognizing the irreversible harm to our environment, we are inspired by the energy and concerns of young people and the global youth movement. We understand that these aspirations need to be channeled into career choices that strike a real balance between economic development and environmental protection.
Our drive for the HYDRO project also stems from our organizational objectives and core values, which include supporting the European Commission’s environmental policies and contributing to the greening of the economy through innovation and training. Moreover, our motivation aligns with the environmental policies of the European Commission.
By innovating and training in green hydrogen technologies, we contribute to the greening of the economy. Our project addresses the needs of our partners and targets to offer state-of-the-art training solutions. With HYDRO we aim to ensure that HE provision aligns with the European Union’s climate change and green transition objectives.
On a broader scale, as EU citizens and contributors to the European labor market, we understand the critical role of carbonneutral hydrogen in achieving net-zero targets. Governments and regulators across Europe have recognized its potential as an energy source, for energy transfer, and storage. This evolving landscape presents a growing need for well-trained professionals in the field.
The project aims to support Europe’s move towards reduced CO2 emissions by preparing graduates with expertise in green hydrogen, fostering innovations in areas such as fuel cells, hydrogen carriers, and carbon capture technologies.
Additionally, the project aspires to influence higher education curricula to include contemporary, energy-related, and green topics, promoting progress in business and environmental practices.
Ultimately, the HYDRO project aims to catalyze changes in higher education curricula, emphasizing contemporary topics like green hydrogen from various perspectives, including energy and environmental aspects. We believe this project will be a driving force in the evolutionary progress of business and ecological sustainability.
